Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Adrian St Patrick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rick Welsh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). St Patrick comes to the cage accompanied by Iron Maiden - Fear of the Dark. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! St Patrick falls off balance throwing a combination
and Welsh counters with a stiff right hand. Welsh shoots in looking for a takedown but St Patrick manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Welsh's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Welsh closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. St Patrick quickly recovers to half guard. Welsh thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. St Patrick is defending against the submission attempts here by Welsh.
Welsh is trying to control the action in half guard but St Patrick is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. St Patrick knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Welsh on the ground.
