The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Weezing fails to land with a series of punches.
Maia with a lazy takedown attempt
and Weezing counters with a left and a right that stings Maia.

Weezing throws a combination that misses
and Maia counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Maia prevents Weezing from improving his position.
Maia is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Weezing is just riding it out for now. Maia eventually gives up the hold.
Weezing tries to get to full guard but Maia has control of the leg.
Maia tries to pass the half guard into mount. Weezing knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
