Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Thiago Cunha and Edson Gomes.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dinenin has his takedown stuffed
letting Crank counter with a right hand.
Dinenin with a poor takedown
and Crank connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Dinenin shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Crank counters with a nice uppercut.
Blitz Crank has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andrey Dinenin.

Crank drives through with a takedown into guard.
Crank forces his way into half guard.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dinenin is in trouble now - Crank has advanced to mount!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dinenin tries to reverse the position but Crank maintains control.

Crank's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Crank seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Dinenin for as long as he can get away with.
Crank punching from mount but Dinenin doing a good job of avoiding damage.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Dinenin is squirming around, avoiding Crank's attempts to control the action.

Crank passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Dinenin!

Crank has control of Dinenin's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Dinenin regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Crank with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Dinenin avoids a series of strikes thrown by Crank.
Dinenin is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Crank looking to secure an arm triangle but Dinenin defends it well.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Crank trying to control but Dinenin is having none of it.

Dinenin tries for a takedown but Crank circles away easily

and Crank counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Dinenin's guard now.
Crank advances to half guard.
Dinenin wants to get back to full guard.

Crank is looking for a kimura but Dinenin is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Crank to get the leverage.
Dinenin keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Crank wants to control but Dinenin is keeping him busy.

Crank content to control rather than advance.
Dinenin is breathing heavily.

Crank uses his free foot to push down on Dinenin's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Dinenin.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Crank throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Dinenin has his hands clasped together but Crank breaks the hold and Dinenin is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Crank!
