Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Samuel Turbitt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pop Tarts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Turbitt comes to the cage accompanied by Tool - Schism. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Tarts feints and as Turbitt raises his hands in defense, Tarts changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Tarts thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Tarts drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Turbitt manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Tarts has Turbitt in his guard.
Tarts has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Turbitt can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Tarts is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tarts seems to be working for a kimura but Turbitt defends the submission attempt.
