Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lasse Kongo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stringer Bell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stringer Bell struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 186.0lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Lasse Kongo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Stringer Bell! The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bell shoots in but doesn't get the takedown enabling Kongo to counter with a crisp jab. Bell misses with a body punch
letting Kongo counter with a right hand. Bell misses with a body punch
and Kongo counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Bell misses with a shot to the body and Kongo counters with a stiff right hand. Kongo connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Bell wants to clinch and Kongo counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Bell blocks a jab. Kongo throws a series of punches but Bell avoids them all with ease. Bell just misses with a punch to the body.
Kongo uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Bell has time to react. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Bell closes the distance but Kongo moves to the side and Kongo counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Bell looks gassed! Kongo tests Bell's chin there with a solid looking shot. Kongo throws a one two combo.

That's one minute gone in the round. The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Kongo for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure. Bell tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Kongo's elbow. Kongo stalling against the cage.
Kongo breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Bell throws a sloppy body shot
enabling Kongo to counter with a crisp jab. Good exchange - Kongo coming out on top. Bell misses with an uppercut
and Kongo counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Bell with a poor takedown letting Kongo counter with a right hand. Kongo scores with a jab. Bell acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Kongo connects with a combination that backs up Bell into the cage. Kongo lands a flurry of punches that gets past Bell's guard. Bell is down and the referee has seen enough. It is all over! Kongo bursts into tears - this win obviously means a huge amount to him.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Lasse Kongo!
