Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Andrew Bruin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Przemek Zdziemborski! The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Ren Mimura and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bruin avoids a punch combination nicely.
Bruin lands a big head kick that sends Zdziemborski tumbling to the mat! Bruin takes a step backwards and waves Zdziemborski back to his feet - he wants the finish! Bruin misses the shot to the body. Bruin is trying hard to land a takedown here. Zdziemborski sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Bruin dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Zdziemborski throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Bruin sees it coming and avoids it easily. Bruin shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Bruin showed some decent athleticism there. Zdziemborski is looking to escape. Bruin wants to stand up but Zdziemborski has a hold of him and won't allow it. Bruin tries to pass to full mount but Zdziemborski defends it.

Bruin is looking to take a break and control but Zdziemborski is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Bruin is pressing down on Zdziemborski's thigh, looking to free his foot. Zdziemborski is holding on for now. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Zdziemborski pushes Bruin off looking to stand but Bruin dives back in and keeps control.
It looks like Bruin is going to stand back up.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Bruin controlling the position from side mount. Bruin trying to control the action but Zdziemborski is working from the bottom. Bruin decides to take the fight back to the feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A looping hook to the body misses from Bruin. Zdziemborski does a little dance to reset his feet. Bruin misses with a kick to the body.
Bruin stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Bruin wants it to stay on the feet. Zdziemborski looks gassed! Bruin misses with a takedown attempt and Zdziemborski counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Well, if Zdziemborski is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Zdziemborski sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Bruin holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Zdziemborski tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Poor strikes thrown by Zdziemborski there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Zdziemborski looking to control but Bruin is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bruin wants to hold on but Zdziemborski pushes him away. Zdziemborski landing strikes, looking to finish! Zdziemborski lands a big shot there that rocks Bruin but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Zdziemborski shoots in and bounces Bruin off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Zdziemborski is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Bruin uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Bruin shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Zdziemborski as he jumps to the side. Bruin takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Zdziemborski shoots for a double leg takedown but Bruin sprawls well. He's pushed Zdziemborski's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Bruin tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Zdziemborski manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bruin misses with a body shot.
Zdziemborski misses with a jab, cross combination.
Zdziemborski throws a right and a left that both miss. Bruin throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Bruin. Bruin connects with a solid leg kick. Bruin tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Zdziemborski manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Zdziemborski looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Przemek Zdziemborski is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Bruin connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Zdziemborski tries a head kick but it misses.
Bruin has his takedown stuffed and Zdziemborski decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Bruin's guard. Bruin trying to control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bruin wants to get back to his feet but Zdziemborski is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Zdziemborski trying to control the position from guard on top but Bruin is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Zdziemborski postures up.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Nice sprawl there from Zdziemborski as Bruin shoots in. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Andrew Bruin. That's going to take a lot out of him. Zdziemborski with a lazy takedown attempt and Bruin counters with a head kick. Bruin fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Zdziemborski keeps the fight on the outside. Zdziemborski gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Bruin counters with a lovely shot to the body. Zdziemborski will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Bruin displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Zdziemborski. Zdziemborski drives through with a takedown into guard. Bruin looking for a sweep. Not yet Bruin, not yet. Bruin controls Zdziemborski momentarily but Zdziemborski frees himself. Zdziemborski preventing the sweep.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bruin is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Bruin wants to pass the guard but Zdziemborski is defending well. Bruin wants to take a breather but Zdziemborski is having none of it. Zdziemborski is trying to stand back up but Bruin is controlling him

Przemek Zdziemborski showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
A chopping leg kick lands by Bruin. Bruin throws an overhand right that lands on Zdziemborski's shoulder, as Zdziemborski tries to avoid the shot. Zdziemborski misses with a takedown attempt and Bruin counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Bruin is looking to wear down Zdziemborski with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Bruin looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Zdziemborski is refusing to be controlled, as Bruin sits in half guard. Bruin works his way into side control. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Zdziemborski is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Bruin is controlling him well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bruin in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Przemek Zdziemborski has got the better of the ground game so far. Bruin wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Zdziemborski, who protects the arm well. Bruin controls the position. Bruin trying to control the position but Zdziemborski is working away. Bruin in side control, just content to control the action for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Bruin is looking to take a break and control but Zdziemborski is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Bruin postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Zdziemborski is not content to let Bruin control the position. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Andrew Bruin has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Zdziemborski shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Bruin decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Zdziemborski's guard. Zdziemborski uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Zdziemborski fails with the takedown and Bruin counters with a nice double leg into guard. Andrew Bruin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Przemek Zdziemborski. Bruin is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Bruin won't allow Zdziemborski to get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bruin has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Zdziemborski is proving hard to escape from. Zdziemborski is looking to stand up but Bruin isn't so interested in that idea. Bruin stands and throws Zdziemborski's legs to the side, diving into side control. Bruin working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
And that's the end of the fight! Andrew Bruin showed his dominance in that final round. Well Bruin has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
