Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Nick Ouellette!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Cardinal Richelieu!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Yves DeLean and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Richelieu scores with the left hand. Ouellette knows he should have avoided that one.
Richelieu uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Ouellette.
Ouellette misses with a few strikes there.
Richelieu just misses with a punch to the body.
Richelieu throws a poor cross that misses
and Ouellette counters with a straight right hand.
Ouellette misses with a two punch combination.
Richelieu fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Ouellette avoids it really well and circles away.
Ouellette ducks under a wild hook from Richelieu.
Richelieu fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Ouellette manages to avoid it.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Richelieu, as that shot connected.
Richelieu lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
The fighters circle momentarily. Richelieu darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Ouellette lands with a straight right. Richelieu didn't see that one coming.
Richelieu rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Ouellette counters with a stiff right hand.
Richelieu misses with a double jab
letting Ouellette counter with a right hand.
Richelieu connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Ouellette tumbling to the canvas! Richelieu pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Ouellette was done - good stoppage!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:02 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Cardinal Richelieu!
