Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Steve Rice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bob Builder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rice comes to the cage accompanied by AC/DC - Thunderstruck. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Steve Rice! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bob Builder! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Robert Douchet and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rice slaps away a takedown attempt from Builder, before circling back to the center of the mat. Builder scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Rice doesn't seem bothered though. Rice throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Builder. Builder takes a swing at Rice's ribcage but misses. Rice lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Builder circles away quickly and effectively. A momentary lapse in concentration from Rice enables Builder to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Rice manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Builder is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Rice is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Rice has escaped and now he's on top! Rice has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Rice postures up in Builder's guard and throws a big left but Builder blocks it. Builder has his hands on Rice's head, controlling the position. Rice throws a strike but Builder rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Builder trying to control the position from guard on top but Rice is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's one minute gone in the round. Builder prevents Rice from getting back to his feet. Builder content to stall in guard here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Rice is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Builder is controlling him.
Bob Builder has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Rice throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Builder counters with a single leg into guard. Rice didn't expect that. Builder is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Rice is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Rice has escaped and now he's on top! Builder pulls Rice in close to his closed guard and prevents Rice from doing any damage or advancing position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Builder is trying to control the position but Rice postures up. Builder wants to sweep here but Rice controlling him for the moment. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Builder manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Builder looking to control but Rice is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Rice is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Rice is squirming around, avoiding Builder's attempts to control the action. Builder swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Rice is now in Builder's guard. A big mistake from Builder there, giving up the dominant position! Rice distracts Builder with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Rice throwing strikes from guard but Builder blocks nicely. Builder tries to land a sweep but no joy. Builder manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Builder swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Rice is now in Builder's guard. A big mistake from Builder there, giving up the dominant position! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bob Builder dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
A nice combination there by Rice.
It looks like Bob Builder has been cut. Builder moves out of range as Rice throws a body kick.
Rice drops Builder with a straight right hand, right on the button! Rice follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
