Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Iggy Guerrero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Iggy Guerrero could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to David Smith's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Iggy Guerrero! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, David Smith! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Alan Glass and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Smith misses with a takedown attempt and Guerrero counters with a stiff right hand. Smith fails with the takedown and Guerrero counters with a stiff right hand. Smith doesn't succeed with the takedown and Guerrero counters with a straight right hand. Iggy Guerrero has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of David Smith. Guerrero throws a looping overhand right but Smith ducks down to avoid it. Smith gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Guerrero makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Guerrero lands a right hook to the body.
Smith looks gassed! Guerrero throws out a loose jab but Smith uses good head movement to avoid it. Guerrero tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Smith was well out of range. Poor timing from Guerrero. A swing and a miss from Guerrero. Guerrero throws a poor cross that misses
and Smith decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Guerrero's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Guerrero trying to keep a closed guard but Smith is proving a slippery customer.
Smith is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Guerrero is trying to control the position from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Smith wants to control from the top but Guerrero keeps moving. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by David Smith. Smith darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Guerrero is trying to stand.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Smith is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard. Guerrero looking to hit a scissor sweep but Smith is one step ahead there. Smith is looking to advance position but Guerrero has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount! Guerrero gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks! Guerrero lands a nice shot that snaps Smith's head back.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Smith tries to clinch but Guerrero is having none of it. Guerrero throws a poor cross that misses
so Smith counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Guerrero is trying to control the position but Smith postures up. Smith stopping the sweep attempt from Guerrero. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Smith wants to pass the guard but Guerrero is keeping the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Iggy Guerrero will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action!

Good agility. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Guerrero holds on and takes a little breather. Smith trying to control the position from guard on top but Guerrero is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Guerrero might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Guerrero looking for a sweep. Not yet Guerrero, not yet. Smith trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
That's one minute gone in the round. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Guerrero holds on and takes a little breather.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Smith doesn't succeed with the takedown and Guerrero counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Guerrero misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Guerrero can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Smith controls the pace. Smith tries to free his leg and advance position but Guerrero is retaining full guard. Guerrero is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Smith is controlling him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Smith trying to control the position from guard on top but Guerrero is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Smith gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Guerrero throws a head kick but Smith moves out of range.
A combination from Guerrero does no damage. Smith shoots and misses and Guerrero counters with a big head kick but Smith shrugs it off. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but David Smith will probably get the nod - 10:9. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

That's going to take a lot out of David Smith. Smith takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Guerrero scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Guerrero with a hook. Guerrero throws a leg kick which misses Smith's front leg but catches the back leg as Smith tries to avoid it. Guerrero throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Nice uppercut there from Guerrero. Guerrero tries a head kick but it misses.
Guerrero misses with a wild body shot. Smith tries for a takedown but Guerrero circles away easily and Guerrero counters with a left to the body. Smith staying out of range there. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Guerrero, as that shot connected.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Guerrero scores with a one two! Smith had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Guerrero scores with a hook to the body. Smith takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Guerrero tries a head kick but it misses.
Iggy Guerrero is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Guerrero throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Guerrero connects with a solid leg kick. Guerrero smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sloppy strikes from Guerrero. Those never looked like landing. Guerrero tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Smith was well out of range. Poor timing from Guerrero. Guerrero throws the kick towards the body but Smith avoids it. Smith slips under a jab. A low kick from Guerrero is predictable there so Smith counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Smith looking to sit in guard and control but Guerrero gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Guerrero has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Smith is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Guerrero is controlling him.
And that's the end of the fight! Iggy Guerrero showed his dominance in that final round. I think Guerrero has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
