Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Charon Hawkins!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Megga Torque!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Radbod Blank and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hawkins looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Hawkins is nestled in close to Torque, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Torque wants to sweep but Hawkins has passed to side control!
Torque tries to escape but Hawkins is in control.
Torque avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Hawkins.
Hawkins has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Torque is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Hawkins asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Hawkins has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Torque uses from the top position.

Hawkins has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Torque can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Torque pushes down on Hawkins's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Hawkins is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Torque can do to turn this around?
Hawkins regains full guard. Nicely done.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hawkins is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Torque defends well.
Torque stands and throws Hawkins's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Hawkins wants to control but Torque postures up.
Torque swings around for an armbar but Hawkins sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Torque's guard.
Hawkins avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Torque is looking to sinch up a triangle. Hawkins throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Torque's body to avoid the submission. Torque has instead reached around Hawkins's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Torque arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:52 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Megga Torque!
