Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Pepsi Max! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Daniel Bishop and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Valjakkala dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Juha Valjakkala seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Valjakkala throws a leg kick which misses Max's front leg but catches the back leg as Max tries to avoid it. A chopping leg kick lands by Valjakkala. That kick from Valjakkala tenderised Max's leg. Max is trying to keep his angry face on. Max looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Valjakkala! Valjakkala is looking to get to half guard. Valjakkala regains half guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Valjakkala is trying to maintain the position but Max is very close to passing his half guard. Valjakkala on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Max is trying a forearm choke

That's one minute gone in the round. Max is trying to control the action in half guard but Valjakkala is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Valjakkala makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Valjakkala. Max looking to sit in guard and control but Valjakkala gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Valjakkala throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Max works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Valjakkala with a flurry of punches that miss. Valjakkala cracks Max with a solid left hand. Valjakkala is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Max tries to strike from the bottom.
Max looking to hit a scissor sweep but Valjakkala is one step ahead there. Valjakkala thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Valjakkala has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Valjakkala loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Valjakkala throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. That's three minutes gone in the round. Max looking for a sweep. Not yet Max, not yet. Valjakkala slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Max tries to buck Valjakkala off but Valjakkala is having none of it. Valjakkala is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Max is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Max can't do much from the bottom here. Valjakkala cracks Max with an elbow. That is naaassty.
It looks like Pepsi Max has been cut. Max looks gassed! Valjakkala wants to lay and pray for a moment but Max keeps working. You can see the frustration on Max's face as Valjakkala controls the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Valjakkala creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Valjakkala lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Max down.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Valjakkala working away. Valjakkala scoring with punches from side control. Valjakkala is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Max is trying to escape and Valjakkala transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Max is forced to tap! Nice work there by Valjakkala! Very nice indeed!
