The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

George feints and as Silva raises his hands in defense, George changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Silva has momentary wrist control but George slips an elbow through the middle.
George has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

George drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and George jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

George is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Silva can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

George is cranking Silva's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Silva! He's tightened the choke and Silva is tapping out!
