Early misses with a takedown
and Sokolov counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

It looks like Jubal Early has been cut.

Sokolov lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Early stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sokolov swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Sokolov is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Early trying to control the position from guard on top but Sokolov is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Sokolov thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.

Early thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
