Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kenji Lokote (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ping Pong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lokote comes to the cage accompanied by Dark Lotus - Keep Up. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kenji Lokote!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ping Pong!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Taro Takaoka and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lokote throws a right and a left that both miss.
Lokote misses with a two punch combination.
Lokote moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Pong is rocked!
It looks like Ping Pong has been cut.
Lokote works the jab nicely.
Pong is still on wobbly legs! Can Lokote finish him?

Lokote throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Pong seems to have recovered his senses.

Pong shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Lokote's guard.
Pong tries to free his leg and advance position but Lokote is retaining full guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Lokote stands and steps away. Pong gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Lokote is not content to let Pong control the position.
Lokote is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Pong has just dragged him back down to the mat.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Pong avoids a punch combination nicely.

Lokote throws the kick towards the body but Pong avoids it.
Pong feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Pong keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Lokote's head.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
