The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nakamura connects with a looping right hand.
Perez tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in the close the distance. Nakamura manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

and Perez counters by clinching up.

Perez using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Nakamura has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Perez drops Nakamura with a big knee straight up the middle! Nakamura is covering up against the ropes but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!

Perez rushes Nakamura and presses him up against the ropes.
Nakamura is still on wobbly legs! Can Perez finish him?
Perez lands a big knee! That's hurt Nakamura! Oh, he's all over the place! Perez lands another knee that sends Nakamura to the floor and the referee steps in to end the fight!
