Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frank Abbot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Manny Cedor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cedor is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Let's fighting love. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
18 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Frank Abbot! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Manny Cedor! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Wesley Smith and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A looping hook to the body misses from Abbot. Cedor does a little dance to reset his feet. A big left from Cedor misses. An inside leg kick from Abbot misses. Cedor looks for the body kick but Abbot saw that one coming. Abbot moves out of range of the body kick. Abbot scores with a crisp jab that stopped Cedor in his tracks. Cedor misses with an attempted mid kick.
Abbot takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Cedor misses the shot to the body. Abbot avoids a punch combination nicely.
Manny Cedor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A head kick misses from Cedor. Abbot avoids the head kick by Cedor.
Abbot takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Cedor walks into a stiff left hand from Abbot. Abbot looks to land a combination but Cedor avoids it well. Cedor misses with a body kick. Abbot connects with a body shot that sends Cedor's belly button to the back. Cedor shoots in looking for a takedown but Abbot manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Cedor's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Abbot lands an overhand right.
That's one minute gone in the round. Abbot rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Cedor moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Abbot avoids the head kick by Cedor.
Cedor lands a head kick. Abbot smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Abbot throws a solid leg kick but Cedor takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Abbot. Abbot is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Cedor. Abbot sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. A slow jab from Cedor misses its intended target. Cedor misses with a body kick. Abbot misses with the combination.
Abbot will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Abbot tries to keep at a distance but Cedor has taken the fight into the clinch. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Cedor lands an elbow inside that Abbot shrugs off. Cedor keeps control of Abbot as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Abbot takes an elbow to the forehead. Cedor lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Abbot has had enough of the clinch but Cedor keeps him there for the moment. Cedor prevents Abbot from breaking the clinch. Cedor throws a knee to the head but misses.
Abbot wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Abbot wants to break free but Cedor has control.
Cedor lands a nice knee to the body. Cedor tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Cedor displaying some good clinch control by pressing Abbot up against the cage. Cedor throws an elbow but it's blocked.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cedor has Abbot pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Cedor pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Abbot tumbling to the mat - Cedor dives into Abbot's guard. Cedor postures up in Abbot's guard and throws a big left but Abbot blocks it. Abbot keeping moving, preventing Cedor from controlling successfully. Abbot uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Cedor throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Abbot throws a series of punches but Cedor avoids them all with ease. Cedor misses with an uppercut. Abbot saw that one coming. Abbot avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Abbot keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Abbot lands a two punch combo.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Cedor takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Cedor uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Abbot. Abbot works over Cedor's head and body with a nice combination. Good shot there by Abbot. Abbot moves out of range as Cedor strikes. Abbot rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Cedor moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Abbot ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Abbot slips a jab and a cross from Cedor.
Sloppy strikes from Abbot. Those never looked like landing. Frank Abbot is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Abbot misses with a series of wild punches.
Abbot connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! A jab from Abbot misses. Abbot swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Abbot blocks the body kick.
Cedor throws a wild body kick that Abbot sees coming a mile off. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Manny Cedor dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Cedor throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Abbot looks to land a combination but Cedor avoids it well. Abbot lands with an uppercut that bounces Cedor off the cage and back into rage. Cedor slips a straight right by Abbot. Some bone on bone action there as Abbot checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Cedor tries a head kick but it misses.

Cedor fails with a takedown attempt. Abbot lands an overhand right. Abbot throws a series of strikes that have Cedor backpedaling.

Cedor looks for a takedown but Abbot sprawls well. Cedor throws a half hearted mid kick. Abbot lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Cedor backs up against the cage.
It looks like Manny Cedor has been cut. Abbot lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
That's one minute gone in the round. Abbot scores with a hook. Cedor takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Cedor shoots in but Abbot avoids the takedown attempt easily. Frank Abbot has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Manny Cedor. Cedor is breathing heavily. Abbot fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Cedor on the side of the head. Nice uppercut lands for Abbot. That snapped Cedor's head back.

Abbot with a jab. Frank Abbot is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Cedor tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Cedor doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Abbot misses with the combination.

Cedor closes the distance and pushes Abbot back into the cage. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Nice elbow from Cedor. Abbot managing to block the knees to the body from Cedor.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cedor tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Cedor looking to throw knees to the head but Abbot is blocking nicely.
Cedor tries to land knees in the clinch but Abbot avoids the damage to the body. Abbot wants to break the clinch but can't.

Cedor misses with a knee to the head. Cedor wants a takedown but no success here.
Cedor has Abbot pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Abbot manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Cedor dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage. Cedor receives a warning from the referee for stalling.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cedor drops down looking for an ankle pick but Abbot pulls his leg out and moves away.
Nice uppercut there from Abbot. A left and a right from Abbot both land. Nice combination. Abbot connects with a body shot that sends Cedor's belly button to the back. Cedor takes a shot right to the bread basket. A jab from Abbot finds it's way through Cedor's defenses. Cedor throws a head kick that misses. Nice straight punches there by Abbot. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Abbot. Abbot scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Cedor doesn't seem bothered though. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Good shot there by Abbot. Abbot throws a series of punches but Cedor moves out of range. Cedor throws a hook to the side of Abbot's head but Abbot sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Cedor has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye. Cedor avoids a punch combination nicely.

Abbot with a nice cross. Abbot lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Abbot takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Abbot rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Cedor moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Abbot stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Abbot wants it to stay on the feet. Jab, jab by Abbot - just one landing. Abbot cracks Cedor with an open hand slap. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Cedor takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. A telegraphed right hand from Cedor misses the target. Cedor has taken the fight to the clinch.
Abbot wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Cedor has him pressed against the cage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Frank Abbot dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Manny Cedor's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
Abbot looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Abbot tests Cedor's chin there with a solid looking shot. Cedor fails to land the takedown. Abbot blocks a head kick by Cedor.

Cedor tries to close the distance and clinch up but Abbot swats him away and circles back towards the center. Cedor walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Cedor tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Abbot swivels and escapes. Abbot lands a really nice looking cross but Cedor seems unphased.
Abbot lands with an uppercut that bounces Cedor off the cage and back into rage. Abbot connects with a nice looking jab.

Cedor takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Cedor misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Frank Abbot has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Manny Cedor. Cedor dives in and grabs Abbot's left leg, looking for a takedown. Abbot pushes down on Cedor's head and hops out.
That's one minute gone in the round. Abbot lands with an overhand left. Cedor walks into a left hand. Abbot throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Cedor takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Cedor takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Cedor takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Abbot scores with a jab to the head.
Abbot fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Good shot there by Abbot. Abbot lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
This has been an exciting period of action! Abbot scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Abbot connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Cedor momentarily.
Cedor shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Cedor was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Abbot really wants to buck Cedor off and get back to his feet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Cedor looking for a guillotine from mount but Abbot is having none of it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Abbot is trying to stand. Abbot knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Cedor on the ground. Abbot stops Cedor from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better. Abbot is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
Cedor sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Cedor looking for a guillotine from mount but Abbot is having none of it. Abbot's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cedor is in the full mount, landing strikes. Cedor working for a submission but Abbot is keeping him at bay. Abbot tries to buck Cedor off but he can't manage it. Abbot defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Cedor. Abbot is trying to get back to his feet but can't. Cedor looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Abbot wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
Cedor with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Abbot is trying to get back to his feet but can't. Cedor in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Abbot tries to buck Cedor off but Cedor takes his back! This has been an exciting period of action! Abbot is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
Cedor is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Abbot is defending well though. Cedor let's go of the attempt for now. Abbot is trying to get back to his feet but Cedor has full control of the position and if anything, Abbot has just worked his way into a worse spot. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
