Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dan Hardy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Halo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hardy's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Johnny Be Goooode. Halo has chosen Halo Theme Song as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Halo takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

and Halo takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Hardy throws a jab when Halo was well out of range.

The fighters circling - Hardy throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Hardy throws a strike but Halo rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Halo cracks Hardy with a right hand to the side of the head.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Halo counters with a head kick. That will keep Hardy thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Halo connects with a left and a right that sees a clearly hurt Hardy covering up! Halo comes in with a big uppercut and Hardy goes doooown! He's slumped up against the cage, eyes staring blankly into space.
