The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
glowczak is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Lane's half guard.
Lane is trying to control but can't.
Lane is looking to improve his position.
glowczak will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

glowczak knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Lane on the ground.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

glowczak pushes Lane off looking to stand but Lane dives back in and keeps control.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

glowczak really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Lane wants to take a breather but glowczak is having none of it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Lane is looking for a kimura but glowczak is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Lane to get the leverage.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Lane seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but glowczak does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Lane maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! glowczak could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Lane has cracked it and glowczak is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Lane!
