Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kiec Bicas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bobby Babooze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bobby Babooze will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Kiec Bicas!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Bobby Babooze!
The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Ivan Kurochkin and Konstantin Menshow.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bicas moves out of range of the body kick.
Babooze misses with a straight left.
Babooze swings and misses with a shot to the body

and Bicas counters with a nice double leg into side control. Babooze won't be happy with that.
Bicas trying to control the action but Babooze is working from the bottom.
Bicas in side control lands a decent elbow.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bicas misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Bicas is trying to ground and pound but Babooze uses the momentary lack of control by Bicas to regain half guard.
Bicas has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Babooze has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Bicas is working away from the top position though.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Bicas lands with a punch from half guard.
Bicas thows a huge punch but Babooze dodges it nicely.
Bicas misses with a head shot. Babooze uses the momentum to regain guard.
Babooze is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Bicas throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Babooze works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Bicas won't allow Babooze to sweep him here.

Babooze not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Babooze is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Bicas keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Babooze's head.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kiec Bicas dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Bicas closes this distance looking for a takedown but Babooze circles away.
Babooze swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Bicas takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Babooze tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Babooze fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Babooze stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Babooze wants it to stay on the feet.
Bobby Babooze seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Babooze moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Bicas takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
A combination from Babooze does no damage.
Babooze throws a nice looking combination but Bicas bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Babooze lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Bicas at a distance.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Babooze dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Bicas drops his hands momentarily and Babooze takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The fighters circle momentarily. Babooze darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Babooze lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

A right-left combo lands from Babooze.
Babooze lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Babooze moves into range and connects with a jab.
Babooze takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Babooze works Bicas's body with a nice hook.

Bicas dodges the punch combination from Babooze.
Babooze ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

Babooze scores with a jab. Bicas acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

Babooze digs a good hook to Bicas's body.
Bicas walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Babooze fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Bicas slips a jab and a cross from Babooze.

Babooze drops Bicas with a beautiful combination! Bicas stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Babooze is looking for the KO!


Bicas is rocked!
Babooze drops Bicas with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Bicas! Babooze dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:27 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bobby Babooze!
