The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Green has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Munson throws a hook to the side of Green's head but Green sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Green takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Green has his takedown stuffed
and Munson counters with a series of strikes. Green will be more careful next time no doubt.
Green takes a shot right to the bread basket.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Green fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Munson lands a jab-cross combination.

and Munson makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dean Green. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Billy Bob Munson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Munson scores with a jab. Green acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Munson connects with a right that clearly hurt Green. He's backed up against the cage with nowhere to go as Munson proceeds to tee off with vicious combinations till Green collapses and taps out under the pressure!
