Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Daisu Miyagi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Ware (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Daisu Miyagi! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Peter Ware! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Wesley Smith and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ware misses with the combination.
Ware pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Miyagi scores with a three punch combo!
A jab from Miyagi finds it's way through Ware's defenses. Peter Ware seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Miyagi checks the leg kick nicely there.
Ware thows a body shot but no joy. Miyagi throws a nice inside leg kick. Ware throws a right hand that Miyagi ducks under and follows up with a left that Miyagi also avoids with ease. Ware keeps the fight on the outside. Miyagi throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Ware. Miyagi misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Ware throws a hook but Miyagi avoids it easily. Ware throws a right hand that misses
and Miyagi decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Ware's guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage! Ware is looking to sweep but instead, Miyagi has passed into half guard.
Ware has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Miyagi is working away from the top position though. Ware tries to roll over but Miyagi keeps him under control. Ware avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Miyagi.
That's one minute gone in the round. Miyagi is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Ware has managed to free his arm - good work. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ware is trying to get back to full guard. Miyagi is looking for a kimura but Ware is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Miyagi to get the leverage. Miyagi throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Ware throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Miyagi. Ware looks gassed! Nice sprawl there from Ware as Miyagi shoots in. Ware lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Miyagi at a distance.
A combination from Miyagi does no damage. Ware looks to land a left hand but Miyagi moved out of range nicely. Ware gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Ware is looking to stand back up but Miyagi counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Ware. Ware tries to buck Miyagi off but Miyagi is having none of it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Miyagi cracks Ware with a big right hand but Ware just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Miyagi is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Ware knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Miyagi trying to control the action but Ware is working from the bottom. Miyagi is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Ware is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Miyagi wants to take a breather but Ware manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Miyagi. Miyagi looking to sit in guard and control but Ware gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Ware tries to free his leg and advance position but Miyagi is retaining full guard. Ware throwing strikes but missing. Miyagi keeping moving, preventing Ware from controlling successfully. Miyagi working a defensive guard but Ware passes into half guard.
Ware trying to control from half guard but Miyagi is working away. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Miyagi is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Ware pulls his head out easily. Miyagi is trying to maintain the position but Ware is very close to passing his half guard. Ware looking for a submission but Miyagi manages to get full guard, putting an end to that submission attempt.
Ware is sitting in close to Miyagi's body. Miyagi has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Ware is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Ware is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Miyagi.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Daisu Miyagi!
