Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Edson Gomes and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva tries to work over Long's front leg with a kick but Long checks it.
Long misses with a takedown attempt - Silva sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Long shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Silva napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Long looks up at the clock and then as Silva takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Long smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Silva is working an open guard so Long takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Silva feints and then cracks Long's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Long down.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Long crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Silva - the referee stops the clock and Long gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Silva. Long manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Long is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Silva defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
