Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jiu Jiet Siet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Demitri Yschenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 10 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jiu Jiet Siet! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 6 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Demitri Yschenko! The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Konstantin Menshow and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Yschenko shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Yschenko is trying to control the action in half guard but Siet is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Siet looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Siet is trying to control but can't.
Siet looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Siet moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Siet is pulling down on Yschenko's head to control his posture. Siet keeping moving, preventing Yschenko from controlling successfully. Siet trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!

Yschenko slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Siet has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Yschenko can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Yschenko won't allow Siet to sweep him here. Yschenko stands up from guard. Let's bang! Yschenko closes the distance but Siet moves to the side and Siet counters with a lovely straight right hand! Siet darts in trying to clinch and Yschenko counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Yschenko is looking to advance position but Siet won't allow it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Siet slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Siet wants to sweep but no luck. Siet controls Yschenko momentarily but Yschenko frees himself.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Siet looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Siet punching to the body, from the bottom. Siet has his foot on Yschenko's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Yschenko works his way back into a safe position though. Yschenko loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Yschenko is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Siet is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Siet is breathing heavily.

And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Siet looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Yschenko passes into half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Yschenko seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Siet does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Siet trying to control here.
Siet looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Yschenko seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Yschenko decides to stand and escape the position. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Siet misses with a body shot.
Yschenko lands with a nice body punch. Yschenko lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Demitri Yschenko dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Siet with a poor takedown and Yschenko counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Yschenko postures up.
Siet striking off his back, scoring a few points. Siet keeping moving, preventing Yschenko from controlling successfully. Siet might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Siet striking off his back but it's not causing Yschenko any problems. Siet throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

Yschenko engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Demitri Yschenko has got the better of the ground game so far. Yschenko decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Siet, up you get! Yschenko looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Yschenko misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Yschenko gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Siet to score an easy takedown into full guard. Yschenko controls Siet momentarily but Siet frees himself.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Siet working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Yschenko's head. Siet postures up in Yschenko's guard and throws a big left but Yschenko blocks it. Siet trying to control but Yschenko is working from the bottom. Siet throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Yschenko works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Siet lands a couple of elbows. Yschenko tries to strike from the bottom.
Siet is looking to work some ground and pound but Yschenko has wrist control. Yschenko avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Yschenko wants to get back to his feet but Siet is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Siet keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Yschenko's head. Siet lands a couple of decent looking shots. Siet is pushing down on Yschenko's leg trying to pass to half guard. Yschenko is fighting to maintain full guard but Siet has managed to sneak the leg through. Siet lands strikes from half guard. Siet wants to take a breather but Yschenko is having none of it. Yschenko is looking to improve his position.
Yschenko is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Siet's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Siet's back! Siet has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Siet tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Siet tries to reverse the position but Yschenko maintains control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Siet is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Siet avoids a series of strikes thrown by Yschenko.
Siet tries to hold on but Yschenko pushes him away. Yschenko with a couple of short strikes. Siet tries to lock up and control but Yschenko gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Siet bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Siet throws and elbow that misses. Yschenko uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Siet's guard. Nice move by Yschenko! Siet trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Siet is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Siet has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Yschenko avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Jiu Jiet Siet will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Yschenko shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Siet but Siet pushes him off and we're back to square one. Yschenko gets caught flat footed, as Siet shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Siet thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Siet stopping the sweep attempt from Yschenko. Siet postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Siet working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Siet won't allow Yschenko to sweep him here. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Siet's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Both fighters are breathing heavily. Siet throwing strikes from guard but Yschenko blocks nicely. Siet trying to control the position from guard on top but Yschenko is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Siet wants to control from the top but Yschenko keeps moving. Yschenko seems keen to control Siet's posture.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Siet gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Yschenko counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Yschenko wants to control from the top but Siet keeps moving. Siet manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Yschenko manages to get himself to full guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Siet accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
And that's the end of the fight! Jiu Jiet Siet showed his dominance in that final round. I think Siet has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
