The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Totman wants to clinch but Howard slips to the side
and Howard cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Totman falls off balance throwing a combination
and Howard counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Totman throws a lazy uppercut
letting Howard counter with a right hand.
A low kick from Totman is predictable there
enabling Howard to counter with a crisp jab.
Howard throws a sloppy body shot
and Totman cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Totman throws a jab when Howard was well out of range.
Totman stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Totman wants it to stay on the feet.
Totman shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Totman doesn't manage to clinch there - Howard circles away.
Howard throws a body punch but Totman moves out of range.
Totman uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Howard.
Totman throws a leg kick that misses.
Howard walks into a straight right hand from Totman.
Totman tries to clinch but Howard is having none of it.

Howard blocks a low kick nicely.
Sam Totman is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Totman throws a low kick but it's checked well by Howard.
Totman lands a leg kick that knocks Howard off balance momentarily.
Howard works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Totman fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Howard has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Howard lunges at Totman with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Totman's hand.
Totman throws a poor cross that misses
and Howard counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Totman misses with a straight right.
Sam Totman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Howard slips under a jab.
Good work by Howard as he checks the leg kick.
Totman throws an off balance right hand
and Howard counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Totman lands a leg kick that knocks Howard off balance momentarily.
Totman feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Howard's calf.

Totman misses with a jab, cross combination.
Howard doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Totman throws a series of punches but Howard avoids them all with ease.
A slapping leg kick lands for Totman.
Totman misses with a hook
and Howard counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Totman!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Howard connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Howard cracks Totman with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Totman is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

Totman avoids a series of strikes thrown by Howard.
Howard lands a big shot there that rocks Totman but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Howard pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
