Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marcin Kedzierski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jesse Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Kedzierski might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to 1 runda. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Marcin Kedzierski! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jesse Davis! The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, John Roberts and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Davis misses with a hook. Kedzierski ducked under it nicely. Kedzierski closes the distance but Davis moves to the side and Davis counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Davis trying to control the pace. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Davis is thwarting Kedzierski's attempts to control the position. Davis is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Davis thows a huge punch but Kedzierski dodges it nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Davis trying to advance position but Kedzierski counters by regaining guard. Kedzierski looking to control.
Kedzierski wants to sweep but no luck. Davis wants to control from the top but Kedzierski keeps moving.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Jesse Davis was stalling too much, according to the referee. Davis tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Kedzierski manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Horrible takedown by Davis or perhaps it was just good defense by Kedzierski which made him look bad. Davis shoots in for a double leg but Kedzierski sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Kedzierski looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Davis looks to clinch and Kedzierski counters by clinching up. Kedzierski gets underhooks to prevent Davis's takedown attempt.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Davis using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Kedzierski has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Davis looks gassed! A frustrated look appears on Davis's face as he tries to break the clinch. Kedzierski looking for a takedown. Davis is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Kedzierski is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Davis pulls him back up using the underhooks. Kedzierski gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Kedzierski is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Davis keeping moving, preventing Kedzierski from controlling successfully. Kedzierski connects with a couple of short punches. Davis really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kedzierski. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kedzierski is stalling in the full guard. Kedzierski wants to control from the top but Davis keeps moving. Kedzierski is really struggling to control Davis but he's trying to hold on to the position.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Davis defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Kedzierski. Davis misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Jesse Davis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kedzierski shoots in for a double leg but Davis sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Davis tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Kedzierski counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Kedzierski trying to control the position from guard on top but Davis is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Davis working a defensive guard here.

Kedzierski shoots in looking for a takedown. Davis tries to sprawl out of it but Kedzierski keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Davis manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Davis misses with a kick to the body and Kedzierski counters by moving into the clinch. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Kedzierski drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Davis gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Kedzierski is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Davis gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Marcin Kedzierski. That's going to take a lot out of him. A head punch on the inside from Davis fails to land. Davis wants a takedown.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Davis tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Kedzierski just stands there and leans against the cage. Davis gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Kedzierski.
Kedzierski goes for a takedown attempt but Davis pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Kedzierski tries for a takedown but Davis circles away easily and Davis makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Davis shoots in looking for a takedown but Kedzierski manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Davis's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Kedzierski with a poor takedown so Davis counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Kedzierski looking for a sweep. Not yet Kedzierski, not yet. Davis trying to control the position from guard on top but Kedzierski is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Davis controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Davis wants to pass the guard but Kedzierski is keeping the position. Davis in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Jesse Davis was stalling too much, according to the referee. Kedzierski closes the distance and clinches. Davis stops a takedown attempt from Kedzierski.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Davis has had enough of the clinch but Kedzierski keeps him there for the moment. Kedzierski blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Kedzierski breaks from the clinch.

Kedzierski wants to control the pace but Davis is squirming around nicely. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Davis really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Kedzierski can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Davis is looking to escape. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jesse Davis showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Kedzierski's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Davis misses with a takedown attempt and Kedzierski counters with a single leg into guard. Davis didn't expect that. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Davis can do anything to dispel that myth. Kedzierski trying to control but Davis is working from the bottom. Kedzierski is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Davis is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. The ref stands the fighters back up because Marcin Kedzierski just wasn't active enough. Davis throws a head kick that misses and Kedzierski decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Davis's guard. Kedzierski trying to control but Davis is working from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kedzierski slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Davis is trying to hold Kedzierski in close to prevent damage but Kedzierski has managed to pass into half guard.
It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Kedzierski here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man. Davis is staying active underneath Kedzierski, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Kedzierski is looking for a kimura but Davis is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Kedzierski to get the leverage. Davis is in trouble now - Kedzierski has advanced to mount! Davis is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Davis is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Davis is trying to get back to his feet but can't. Kedzierski lands a nice shot to the head. Davis keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Davis tries to hold on but Kedzierski pushes him away. Kedzierski can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Davis is looking to escape. Kedzierski avoids the attempt from Davis to control. Kedzierski dominating with strikes here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Davis is trying desperately to improve position. Davis in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. BOOM! Kedzierski connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Kedzierski scoring with strikes but Davis is staying in there. Kedzierski landing strikes from the mount. Kedzierski tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Davis tries to reverse the position but Kedzierski maintains control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kedzierski looking to control but Davis is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Kedzierski could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Kedzierski lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Davis hang on? Kedzierski wants to control the pace but Davis is squirming around nicely.
And that's the end of the fight! Marcin Kedzierski showed his dominance in that final round. I think Kedzierski has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
