Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A big left from Russell misses. Calado changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Russell looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Russell wants to get back to his feet but Calado drags him back down. Calado working the ground and pound but Russell is defending the strikes. Calado goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Russell has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Calado but great work by Russell. Russell swings around for an armbar but Calado sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Russell's guard. Calado wants to stand but Russell has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Calado postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Russell manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Calado is looking to improve his position but Russell isn't that keen on the idea. Russell is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Calado can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
That's one minute gone in the round. Russell has isolated one of Calado's arms. Calado looking to fight him off but Russell twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
