Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frenk Schmellengartner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Siergiej Kopytkow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Siergiej Kopytkow will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Paulsen Ambrosius and Paul Aken.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kopytkow forces Schmellengartner back against the cage and clinches.

Schmellengartner comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.


It looks like Siergiej Kopytkow has been cut.

and Schmellengartner counters with a nice low kick that buckles Kopytkow's knee momentarily.
Kopytkow is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
