Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Valeri Chadov and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dubov rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Gory cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
It looks like Saha Dubov has been cut.
Gory connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Dubov momentarily.
Dubov lands an overhand right.
Dubov throws a head kick that misses
and Gory counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Dubov really is a fat lump.
Dubov gets a takedown into half guard.
Gory moves into full guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Gory lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Dubov!

Dubov might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Gory is hanging on to Dubov's back as he tries to escape.

Dubov tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Gory works the jab nicely.
Dubov is breathing heavily.

Gory fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Gory punishes Dubov's body with a nice straight punch.

Gory throws a shot to the body.
A lazy left from Gory finds it's target.
Dubov on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

Gory throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Dubov stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Gory connects with a body shot.
Gory lands a really nice looking cross but Dubov seems unphased.
Gory clinches up against the ropes.
Gory drags the fight down to the ground.
Gory has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Gory's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Gory bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Dubov's guard.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Gerard Gory was stalling too much, according to the referee.

Dubov takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Gory goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Dubov gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Gory scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Gory stuns Dubov with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Gory gets the takedown into side control.
Gory is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Dubov will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Gory works to advance to full mount. Dubov defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Gory forces the positional change into back control.
You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.

It looks like Gory might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

No joy there for Dubov, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Dubov takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Gory lands a slapping body shot.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Gory scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Dubov doesn't seem bothered though.
Gory moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Gory shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Dubov napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Gory controls the position.
And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.

Gory ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

and Gory counters with a straight right hand.

Gory is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Dubov rather than just go for the knockout.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Dubov takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Gory cracks Dubov with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the ropes.

Gory lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Dubov is rocked!

Gory has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Gory is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Gory looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Gory passes the guard and advances to mount!

Dubov is desperately trying to improve his position but Gory has a good base and remains in mount.

Gory moves to take his opponent's back.
Well, with Gory on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Dubov is tapping out... Can he escape the position?

Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Gory is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but Dubov won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips Gory off his unconscious opponent!
