Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Robert Maxley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Krzysztof King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Robert Maxley! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Krzysztof King! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Richard Clark and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! King lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Maxley lands a high kick!
King gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. King breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. King missing with a left hand there. Maxley was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. King closes the distance and clinches. King tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Maxley smiles and moves away.
Maxley tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. King manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. King moves into range and clinches up with Maxley. King escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Maxley keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from King. King shoots in looking for a takedown. Maxley tries to sprawl out of it but King keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Maxley manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. King throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Maxley counters with an inside leg kick. Maxley gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. King stays in close to Maxley's body and controls the position. King thows a big elbow that misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. King advances to half guard. King thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. The fighters are battling for position here. Maxley manages to regain full guard. Nice work. King loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. King stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Maxley swivels though and keeps the full guard. King seems content to control from guard here. Krzysztof King has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. King misses with the body kick and Maxley counters with a body kick that stops King in his tracks momentarily. Maxley stuffs the takedown. Robert Maxley has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Krzysztof King. King feints and as Maxley raises his hands in defense, King changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. King looks gassed! King throwing strikes from guard but Maxley blocks nicely. King stops Maxley from standing up. King not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Maxley keeping full guard, as King tries to pass. Maxley can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as King controls the pace.

King closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Maxley did well to prevent King getting side control. King passes to full mount! King working away from the top, dropping strikes. King tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Maxley in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. King scoring with strikes but Maxley is staying in there. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. King lands with some strikes. King content just to control the position here. King putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! King controlling from mount. King lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. King breaks from Maxley's wrist control and lands an elbow. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Krzysztof King dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
An inside leg kick from King misses. Maxley with a lazy takedown attempt and King makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. King sizes up Maxley with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. A nice inside leg kick there by King. That's going to slow Maxley down. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by King.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Krzysztof King was stalling too much, according to the referee. King throws a right and a left that Maxley avoids nicely. King misses with a double jab.
King fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Maxley avoids it really well and circles away. Krzysztof King seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. King rushes Maxley and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. King drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

King closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - King lands in his opponent's guard. King throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. King in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. King throwing strikes but missing. King controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as King accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. King must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
That's four minutes gone in the round. King works a leg free and moves into half guard. King slows the pace down in half guard. King scores with a couple of good hammerfists. King looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Krzysztof King showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

King scoring with punches to the head and body. Maxley working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from King. King won't allow Maxley to get back to his feet. King stands up over Maxley, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. King is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Let's hope that King has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Krzysztof King has got the better of the ground game so far. Maxley is being controlled here. King creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Maxley sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. King lands a nice forearm strike. Maxley defending against the ground and pound. A lull in the action here. King looks up at the clock and then as Maxley takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, King smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Maxley tries to get back to half guard but can't. Maxley trying to remain calm as King controls from the top position. King creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. King lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Maxley wants to control but King postures up. King working the ground and pound from side control. Sloppy strikes there by King.
That's four minutes gone in the round. King decides to take the fight back to the feet. Nice takedown defense from Maxley. No joy for King on that attempt. King throws a head kick but Maxley moves out of range.
King's corner calls for a 1-2. King obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. King clinches. King breaks the clinch.
King closes the distance and clinches. King breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. King gets in close and instigates a clinch. Maxley is looking to break free of the clinch but King has double underhooks. King breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
King shoots in for a takedown but Maxley shows good takedown defense. Robert Maxley has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Krzysztof King is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Maxley lands with a kick to the ribs.
And that's the end of the fight! Krzysztof King comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well King has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
