The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zizou tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in the close the distance. Scott manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Scott takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Scott avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
No luck for Zizou with that takedown attempt.
Zizou misses with an uppercut.
Scott misses with a low kick.
Zizou misses with a left hand
and Scott counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Zizou throws a sloppy head kick and Scott moves out of range easily.
Zizou throws an off balance right hand
and Scott counters with a nice body shot.
Scott fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Zizou takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
