Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Max Wilder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stephen Hawking (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wilder's entrance music is One Minute Silence - Brainspiller. A fine choice. Hawking has chosen Shady Lane as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Wilder has his takedown stuffed
and Hawking connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Hawking lands with a nice body punch.
Wilder walks into a jab.
Wilder slips a straight right by Hawking.
Wilder gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Hawking counters with a left to the body.
Hawking scores with a crisp jab that stopped Wilder in his tracks.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Max Wilder. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Wilder takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Hawking throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Wilder.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Wilder walks forward, straight into a front kick from Hawking.
Wilder is breathing heavily.
Hawking bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Hawking's jab looks to have found its range, popping Wilder under the eye.
Whack! Hawking lands a heavy head kick that drops Wilder. The ref tackles Hawking to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Wilder was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:02 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Stephen Hawking!
