Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gerald Walloway (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cay Hunter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hunter has chosen Stronger as his entrance music. Cay Hunter will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Gerald Walloway! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Cay Hunter! The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Taro Takaoka and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A nice combination there by Hunter.
Hunter throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Walloway. Gerald Walloway seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Walloway darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Walloway wants to stand up but Hunter is controlling the position.
Walloway wants to pass to mount but Hunter is defending the position. Walloway throws a strike but Hunter avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Walloway has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Walloway looking to pass the guard. Walloway throwing strikes from guard but Hunter blocks nicely. Walloway wants to pass the guard but Hunter is keeping the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Walloway decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Hunter, up you get! Hunter throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Walloway tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Hunter is in Walloway's guard. Walloway uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Walloway avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Hunter shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Walloway eats them both and turns towards Hunter to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Walloway fails with the takedown and Walloway takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Hunter tries to close the distance and clinch but Walloway swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Hunter lands the left hand. Walloway has his takedown stuffed enabling Hunter to counter with a crisp jab. Hunter is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Walloway is breathing heavily. Hunter closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Walloway has Hunter pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Hunter manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gerald Walloway. That's going to take a lot out of him. Hunter pulls guard successfully.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Walloway postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Hunter looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Hunter is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Walloway got a little sloppy there for a moment and Hunter has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Walloway has managed to get both his arms back between Hunter's legs - danger averted. Hunter avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Walloway has gone for a leg lock! Hunter slips out almost immediately though and dives into Walloway's guard. Walloway on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Walloway tries to get out of the position. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Walloway is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Hunter is controlling him. Walloway wants to sweep but no luck. Walloway throwing strikes off his back to little effect.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Hunter with a nice head shot there. Hunter in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Walloway has a closed guard, preventing Hunter from standing up. Walloway wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Hunter manages to pass to side control. Walloway tries to roll over but Hunter keeps him under control. Walloway wants to get back to full guard but Hunter has mounted him! Walloway is working to get back to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Hunter connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Walloway might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Walloway is trying desperately to improve position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hunter lands a big elbow. Hunter raining down shots from the mount! Walloway's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Walloway looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back! Hunter is looking for the choke from the back position but Walloway is controlling his hands well. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Walloway trying to get back to his feet but Hunter is in full control for now. Hunter misses with an elbow to the head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Cay Hunter dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Walloway throws a sloppy head kick and Hunter makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Walloway takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Walloway gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Hunter counters with a lovely straight right hand! Walloway is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Hunter. Hunter shoots in and gets a takedown into Walloway's guard. Walloway wants to stand but Hunter is controlling the position. Hunter wants to control from the top but Walloway keeps moving. Hunter stopping the sweep attempt from Walloway. Hunter is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Walloway looking to hit a scissor sweep but Hunter is one step ahead there. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Walloway escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Hunter gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Walloway is looking to stand up but Hunter isn't so interested in that idea. Hunter got a little sloppy there for a moment and Walloway has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hunter has managed to get both his arms back between Walloway's legs - danger averted. Hunter trying to control but Walloway is working from the bottom.

Hunter works over Walloway with some ground and pound from guard. Hunter advances to half guard. Hunter passes to full mount! Hunter working for a submission but Walloway is keeping him at bay. Hunter trying to control but he's not successful this time. Hunter scoring with strikes but Walloway is staying in there. A nice elbow there by Hunter. Hunter working the ground and pound effectively.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Hunter blocks Walloway's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom. Walloway is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Hunter can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Walloway is looking to escape. Walloway is trying to escape the mount.
Hunter landing strikes from the mount and Walloway is in trouble! Walloway is working to get back to half guard.
You get the feeling that Walloway really doesn't like being in this position too much.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Hunter fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Walloway tries to get back to half guard but can't. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Hunter cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Cay Hunter showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
Walloway throws a sloppy head kick and Hunter makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Walloway crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Hunter - the referee stops the clock and Walloway gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Hunter. Walloway manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Hunter connects with a high kick. Hunter shoots in and gets a takedown into Walloway's guard. Walloway uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Hunter lands with a kick to the temple. Walloway shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Walloway doesn't succeed with the takedown and Hunter counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Hunter lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Walloway doesn't succeed with the takedown and Hunter counters with a head kick. Walloway has his takedown stuffed and Hunter holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gerald Walloway. That's going to take a lot out of him. Walloway is trying to drag Hunter to the mat but Hunter just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Walloway has Hunter pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Hunter manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Hunter pushes Walloway against the cage but Walloway circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Walloway tries for a takedown but Hunter circles away easily and Hunter counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Hunter tries to clinch but Walloway is having none of it. Walloway gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Hunter counters with a left to the body. Walloway fails with the takedown and Hunter finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body. Hunter moves in looking to clinch but Walloway pushes him off. Walloway fails with the takedown and Hunter counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Hunter is trying to control the action in half guard but Walloway is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Hunter is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Walloway wants to improve his position but Hunter is controlling well.

Walloway striking off his back but it's not causing Hunter any problems. Cay Hunter has got the better of the ground game so far. Walloway keeping moving, preventing Hunter from controlling successfully. Hunter won't allow Walloway to get back to his feet. Walloway tries to strike from the bottom.

Hunter in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Cay Hunter is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Walloway in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Hunter is looking to get to half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hunter tries to lock up and control but Walloway gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Walloway is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Hunter has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Hunter! Gerald Walloway has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Walloway had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Hunter defends it easily. Walloway throws some sloppy strikes off his back.

And that's the end of the fight! Cay Hunter comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Hunter has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
