The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
holmes connects with a body shot.

holmes gets a takedown into half guard.
Bull desperately trying to maintain half guard.
holmes will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

holmes is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
The fighters are battling for position here. Bull manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Bull keeping moving, preventing holmes from controlling successfully.
holmes postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
holmes trying to control the position from guard on top but Bull is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bull wants to get back to his feet but holmes is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Bull manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. holmes manages to get himself to full guard.
holmes throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
holmes manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
holmes trying to control but Bull is having none of it.
holmes breaks from Bull's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Bull tries to lock up and control but holmes gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
holmes wants to control the pace but Bull is squirming around nicely.
holmes lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Bull wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.
Bull is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
