Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Doc Thomas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maxence Laurentian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thomas comes to the cage accompanied by Lunatic Fringe by Red Ryder. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Maxence Laurentian was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thomas throws a right hand that misses
and Laurentian connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Good work by Laurentian as he checks the leg kick.

Laurentian lands a left and a right that send Thomas crashing to the mat, dazed. Laurentian thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Doc Thomas.
I think Laurentian has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
