Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sergej Kaputt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Garik Harlamov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Garik Harlamov was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Garik Harlamov! The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Valeri Chadov and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Harlamov uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Kaputt. Harlamov with a lazy takedown attempt and Kaputt counters with a solid body kick. Harlamov fails with the takedown and Kaputt counters with a nice leg kick. Kaputt throws a sloppy head kick and Harlamov moves out of range easily. Kaputt throws a head kick but Harlamov moves out of range.

Kaputt fakes the leg kick and cracks Harlamov in the body. Harlamov blocks a head kick by Kaputt.
Kaputt throws a head kick that misses and Harlamov counters with a nice double leg into guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Harlamov postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Kaputt is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Harlamov, into his guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kaputt wants to control from the top but Harlamov keeps moving.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kaputt makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Kaputt wants to control from the top but Harlamov keeps moving. Kaputt is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Harlamov is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Harlamov is looking for a triangle here but Kaputt uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Kaputt stands up and beckons Harlamov to his feet. A head kick by Kaputt misses and Harlamov counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Kaputt! Harlamov looking to secure an arm triangle but Kaputt defends it well. Harlamov swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Kaputt is now in Harlamov's guard. A big mistake from Harlamov there, giving up the dominant position!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Harlamov had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Kaputt defends it easily. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Kaputt accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Kaputt thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Harlamov looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Harlamov has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Kaputt doesn't defend quickly enough and Harlamov has managed to lock this one up! Can Kaputt escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Harlamov on a fantastic submission victory.
