Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Rob Carmichael! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Carmichael throws a nice looking combination but Reilly bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Reilly bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Reilly stands up. Carmichael uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Reilly has time to react.
It looks like Josh Reilly has been cut. Carmichael throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Reilly avoids a lazy jab quite easily. The fight stays on the outside here - Reilly looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Carmichael throws a predictable looking body shot
and Reilly counters by clinching up. Reilly takes a shot to the head. A head punch blocked on the inside by Reilly. Reilly takes a shot to the head. A short right from Carmichael on the inside. A nice left hand lands by Carmichael.
Reilly has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Carmichael regains guard immediately. Reilly pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Carmichael is keeping the position for now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Carmichael is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Reilly trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Reilly wants to control from the top but Carmichael keeps moving. Reilly throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Carmichael works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Reilly's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Reilly tries to stand but Carmichael is controlling from the bottom. Reilly wants to control from the top but Carmichael keeps moving. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Reilly prevents Carmichael from getting back to his feet. Reilly wants to pass the guard but Carmichael is keeping the position. Reilly won't allow Carmichael to get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Carmichael wriggles free and stands up. Rob Carmichael is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Carmichael tries to close the distance and clinch but Reilly swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Carmichael scores with a body shot.
Carmichael fails to land with a series of punches.
Jab by Carmichael. Reilly takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Both fighters circle each other, looking for something big. Carmichael moves in and throws an overhand right. That hurt Reilly! Carmichael continues to tee off on Reilly, landing with a left and a right! Carmichael connects with a right hand that leaves Reilly sleeping against the cage! What a finish by Carmichael!
