Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Guillaume Blue (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ren Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gracie has chosen Summer Madness (Extended Version) Remix as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Fedor Mirinova and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blue shoots and misses
letting Gracie counter with a right hand.
Gracie shoots in looking for a takedown but Blue manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Gracie's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

and Gracie counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Blue's guard now.
Blue is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Gracie thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Blue working for submissions but it's allowed Gracie to get to half guard.
Gracie is looking for a kimura but Blue is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Gracie to get the leverage.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Blue working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Gracie doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Gracie manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Gracie is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Gracie drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Gracie jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Blue wants to hit a switch here but Gracie passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Blue there!

Gracie got a little sloppy there for a moment and Blue has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Gracie has managed to get both his arms back between Blue's legs - danger averted.
