Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Valeri Chadov and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Whammy throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Odair throws a poor cross that misses
and Whammy counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Odair!
Odair wants to hold on but Whammy pushes him away.
Odair is trying desperately to improve position.
Whammy with good strikes from the mount here!
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Odair can do anything to dispel that myth.
Whammy scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Odair?
Whammy connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Odair tries to reverse the position but Whammy maintains control.
Whammy controlling the pace for now.
BOOM! Whammy connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Odair is bucking up trying to escape but Whammy cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
The referee warns Odair that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Whammy takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Odair wants to hold on but Whammy pushes him away.
Odair really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Whammy. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Odair is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Whammy is staying active.
Whammy cracks Odair with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
