Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Daniel Franklin and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hanzo feints a jab promting Lessard to slip. Hanzo then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Lessard slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Hanzo clinches up with Lessard and pushes him back against the cage.
Hanzo tries to score a body lock takedown but Lessard shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Lessard turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lessard creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Hanzo sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Hanzo is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Hanzo is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Lessard's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Hanzo looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Lessard looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Hanzo avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Lessard.

Hanzo is pressing down on Lessard's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hanzo has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Lessard can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Lessard stands up over Hanzo, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Hanzo is looking for a triangle but Lessard pushes his legs off easily.
Hanzo has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Lessard doesn't defend quickly enough and Hanzo has managed to lock this one up! Can Lessard escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Hanzo on a fantastic submission victory.
