Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jing Ya Xu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arthur St John (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jing Ya Xu!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Daniel Franklin and Alan Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
St John tried to score with a low kick but Ya Xu checks it.
St John misses with a hook.
St John tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Ya Xu throws out a loose jab but St John uses good head movement to avoid it.
St John misses with a double jab
and Ya Xu counters with a stiff right hand.

Ya Xu closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Ya Xu wants the takedown. St John is fighting it off but Ya Xu persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in St John's guard against the cage.
Ya Xu keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of St John's head.
Ya Xu is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Ya Xu has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

St John really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ya Xu. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
