PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dennis Sinclair (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shake Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sinclair kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is 50 Cent - Get Up. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Dennis Sinclair!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Shake Jones!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Steve Erwin and Donatello Bradman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones blocks the body kick.
Jones looks for a takedown but Sinclair sprawls well.
Sinclair tries to clinch up but Jones circles away and keeps his distance.

Sinclair reaches up to try and control the position but Jones seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Sinclair rolls and tries to escape and now Jones has his back!

Jones is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Sinclair is just riding it out for now. Jones eventually gives up the hold.

Sinclair has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.

Sinclair turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Sinclair manages to end up in side control.

Jones had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Sinclair is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Jones Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Sinclair's back instead.
