Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Edward Ludczynsky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Balack Rassum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Balack Rassum is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Edward Ludczynsky!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Balack Rassum!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Patrick Alders and Saam Ante.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ludczynsky on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Rassum. Rassum obviously looking to wear him down.
Ludczynsky takes a kick to the side of the head.


It looks like Edward Ludczynsky has been cut.
Rassum throws a sloppy head kick and Ludczynsky moves out of range easily.
Rassum looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
A combination from Rassum does no damage.
Ludczynsky tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Rassum paws at him with a jab and circles away.
A chopping leg kick lands by Rassum.
Rassum pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Ludczynsky clinches up with Rassum and pushes him back against the cage.
Rassum can't break the clinch.
Rassum wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Ludczynsky has him pressed against the cage.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Ludczynsky takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Ludczynsky has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Rassum enables Ludczynsky to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Rassum manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Ludczynsky bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Rassum's guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Ludczynsky remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Ludczynsky, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
