The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Satto closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Arvanitidis gets back to full guard.

Jannis Arvanitidis dominated that round. That's time! Satto's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Satto moves into the clinch successfully.
Satto wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Arvanitidis jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Satto walks away with a smile on his face. Arvanitidis gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Satto moves into the clinch successfully.
Satto wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Arvanitidis has him pressed against the cage. Arvanitidis jumps guard but Satto stands there with Arvanitidis around his waist. Arvanitidis gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Arvanitidis is working for takedown but Satto is calmly controlling the position for now. Amir Satto has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jannis Arvanitidis. A frustrated look appears on Satto's face as he tries to break the clinch. Arvanitidis fails to pull guard.
