Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jamal Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Himbo Spice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jamal Williams!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Himbo Spice!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Russell Pearce and Chad Campbell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spice pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Spice misses with a takedown
and Williams counters with a straight right hand.
Spice tries for a takedown but Williams circles away easily
and Williams counters with a nice uppercut.
Spice moves to clinch but Williams breaks away
and Williams counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Williams avoids the head kick by Spice.
Spice misses with a body shot.
Spice just misses with a punch to the body.
Spice tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Williams counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Williams with a lazy takedown attempt
and Spice counters with a straight right hand.

Spice rushes Williams and presses him up against the cage.
Spice trying to stall but Williams improves his position.
Spice wants to break free but Williams has control.

Williams has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Spice regains guard immediately.
Spice is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Spice is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Williams wants to control from the top but Spice keeps moving.

Williams stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Spice swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Williams makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Williams might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Williams is working Spice over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Williams wants to control from the top but Spice keeps moving.

Spice regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Williams.

Williams looking to sit in guard and control but Spice gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Spice wants to stand but Williams is controlling his posture from full guard.

Williams wants to stand and escape but Spice is having none of it.
Williams on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Williams tries to get out of the position.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Williams wriggles free and stands up.

Williams looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Spice!

BOOM! Williams connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Williams connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Williams knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Spice on the ground.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Williams cracks Spice with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.



Williams shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Williams seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Spice looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Williams is trying to control the action in half guard but Spice is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Williams with the ground and pound but Spice uses the opportunity to regain guard.
Williams tries to free his leg and advance position but Spice is retaining full guard.

Spice is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Spice is trying to control the action in half guard but Williams is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Spice stalling away here and it's allowed Williams to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
Spice wanted to stand there but Williams had control of the position.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Himbo Spice hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Williams throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Spice was covering up waiting for the punch and Williams finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Spice will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Williams is stalling in the full guard.

Spice has his foot on Williams's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Williams works his way back into a safe position though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Spice has momentary wrist control but Williams slips an elbow through the middle.
Williams wants to control from the top but Spice keeps moving.
Spice wants to stand and escape but Williams is having none of it.

Williams got a little sloppy there for a moment and Spice has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Williams has managed to get both his arms back between Spice's legs - danger averted.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!



Williams shoots in and bounces Spice off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Williams controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

Williams throws a big right hand that misses.
Spice has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Williams keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Spice's head.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Williams sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Spice is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

Williams looks up at the clock and then as Spice takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Williams smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Spice is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Williams off and has taken his back!

Spice wants to clinch but Williams slips to the side

and Williams counters with a nice double leg into guard.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Williams wants to control from the top but Spice keeps moving.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Spice pushes Williams off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Spice misses with a takedown attempt

and Williams decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Spice's guard.

Spice wants to stand and escape but Williams is having none of it.
Spice manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Williams manages to get himself to full guard.
Himbo Spice has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Williams, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
