Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between ale gladiador (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Junior Dos Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). gladiador comes into the arena with smell like the spirit blaring out of the sound system. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dos Santos shoots and misses
and gladiador counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
gladiador lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Dos Santos is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

gladiador slips a nice elbow through Dos Santos's hands, connecting with Dos Santos's forehead.

Dos Santos is looking for a sweep. gladiador is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
gladiador is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Dos Santos doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time gladiador.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

gladiador has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Dos Santos shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in gladiador's guard.

Dos Santos wants to stand and escape but instead gladiador has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Dos Santos bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in gladiador's guard.

Dos Santos has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of gladiador is proving hard to escape from.

gladiador working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Dos Santos turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips gladiador off and cradles Dos Santos's limp body as gladiador celebrates with his corner.
