Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kane misses with a takedown attempt
and Banal counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Banal scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Kane on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Kane moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Banal is looking to work some ground and pound but Kane has wrist control.

Banal drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Banal jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Kane isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Banal stacks Kane on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Banal!

Kane is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Banal pulls his head out easily.

Kane regains full guard. Nicely done.
Banal must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Banal wants to control from the top but Kane keeps moving.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Banal lands a couple of decent looking shots.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Banal accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Kane is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Banal is aware though and is defending well.

Kane will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Kane is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Banal looks gassed!

Kane takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Kane maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Banal could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Kane has cracked it and Banal is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Kane!
