Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
13 - 5 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ravish McTavish!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Dmitry Novikov!
The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Sergei Dronov and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Novikov throws a head kick that misses
and McTavish counters with a lovely straight right hand!
McTavish looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
A low kick from Novikov is predictable there
and McTavish cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
McTavish cracks Novikov with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Novikov tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but McTavish pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Novikov is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ravish McTavish!
