Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ned Hastings (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lie Die (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lie Die is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Ned Hastings!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Lie Die!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Andrew Berry and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hastings swings for the body but Die moves out of range.
Hastings tries to clinch but Die moves away

so Die counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Die trying to control but Hastings is working from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Die drops back looking for a leg! Hastings is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Hastings manages to kick Die off! Die jumps back into Hastings's guard.
Hastings wants to get back to his feet but Die is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Die not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Die wants to control from the top but Hastings keeps moving.

Die drops back looking for a leg! Hastings is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Hastings manages to kick Die off! Die jumps back into Hastings's guard.
Die trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Hastings wants to get back to his feet but Die is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Hastings trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

Die drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Die jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Die wants to pass the guard but Hastings is keeping the position.
Die content to stall in guard here.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Hastings keeping moving, preventing Die from controlling successfully.
Hastings might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Die won't allow Hastings to get back to his feet.
Hastings knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Die on the ground.
Die not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Hastings moves to clinch but Die breaks away

and Die counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Hastings!
Die is trying to take his opponent's back.
Hastings is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Hastings is breathing heavily.
Hastings has given up his back. Will we see Die going for some submissions?
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hastings looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands.

Hastings is keeping busy.

Die tightening his grip on Hastings, looking for the choke.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Die has both hooks in and is working for a choke. Hastings is in real trouble here. Die gets an arm under the chin and tightens the submission attempt... is this the end? Yes, Hastings is tapping out! Die wins by rear naked choke!
