Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tony Ross!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rick Ring!
The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Lou da Vinci and Alyssa Summers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ring throws a left and a right that both miss

and Ross counters with a single leg into guard. Ring didn't expect that.
Ross preventing the sweep.
Ross knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ring on the ground.
Ring working a defensive guard here.
Ring manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Ring punishing his opponent with strikes.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Ring controlling the position easily from mount.
Ring lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
A nice elbow there by Ring.
Ring looking to control but Ross is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Ring thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!

Ring is standing up, even though he is in mount.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Ross moves into the clinch successfully.
Ross creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Ring's defenses.


It looks like Rick Ring has been cut.
Ross scores a nice knee to the body.

Ross lands a big knee from the Thai clinch and Ring goes down hard! The ref takes a good look at him but he's still defending himself. Ross in side control.


Ring is rocked!
Ring looks gassed!
Ring is letting Ross control him for a moment.
Ring is still in real trouble! Can Ross finish him?
Ross working away.
Ring seems to have recovered his senses.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ring is looking to reverse the position.
Ring struggling a bit here.
Ring wants to get back to his feet but Ross drags him back down.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Ross in side control, just content to control the action for now.
Ring tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Ross wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tony Ross dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Rick Ring's cut.
That's time! Back to the action!



Ross fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Ring, pushing him back against the cage.
Ross lands an elbow that stopped Ring in his tracks for a moment.


That has opened up Rick Ring's cut even more.
Nice elbow from Ross.
Ring wants to stall.
Ring seems frustrated at his inability to get double underhooks.
Ross slows down the pace here.
Ross lands an elbow inside that Ring shrugs off.


The cut above Rick Ring's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Ross gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.


Rick Ring's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Rick Ring's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:37 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Tony Ross!
