Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eddie Franklin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tom Clancey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Eddie Franklin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 13 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tom Clancey! The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Dean Styles and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Franklin has a takedown stuffed. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Clancey's corner calls for a 1-2. Clancey obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
It looks like Eddie Franklin has been cut. Franklin with a lazy takedown attempt and Clancey counters with a straight right hand. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Clancey looks to throw the jab but Franklin is out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Clancey lands with a right hand. Clancey waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Franklin. Franklin fails with the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Eddie Franklin. That's going to take a lot out of him. Franklin uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Clancey.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Franklin shoots in for a double leg but Clancey sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Tom Clancey is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Clancey throws a right hand that Franklin ducks under and follows up with a left that Franklin also avoids with ease. Clancey leaves Franklin with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Franklin shoots in looking for a takedown. Clancey tries to sprawl out of it but Franklin keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Clancey manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Franklin closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Clancey to the mat! Clancey manages to get full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Franklin won't allow Clancey to get back to his feet. Franklin trying to control the position from guard on top but Clancey is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Franklin drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Franklin jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Franklin drops back looking for a leg! Clancey is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Clancey manages to kick Franklin off! Franklin jumps back into Clancey's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Franklin in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Franklin scrambles back to his feet. No luck with that takedown attempt from Franklin.

Tom Clancey showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Eddie Franklin's cut. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!

Franklin working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Franklin goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Clancey has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Franklin but great work by Clancey. Franklin manages to work his way to half guard, despite Clancey's best efforts. Franklin makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Franklin.

Franklin lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Clancey! Franklin goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Clancey is on top in guard.
Clancey is looking to stand up but Franklin won't let him. Clancey postures up.

Now he's in top in Clancey's guard. Franklin thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Franklin thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Franklin postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Clancey is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Franklin, into his guard. Franklin not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Franklin bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Clancey's guard. Eddie Franklin has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Tom Clancey is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Franklin drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Clancey manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Franklin has Clancey in his guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Eddie Franklin showed his dominance in that final round. I think Clancey has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
